The 20th PTASE – FAPESP São Paulo Advanced School of Electrochemistry (SPASE 2026) will take place from 2–11 December 2026 at the Institute of Chemistry, University of São Paulo (Brazil). This special edition celebrates the twentieth anniversary of PTASE and its recognition as a FAPESP São Paulo Advanced School, bringing together leading researchers and young scientists from around the world.
Applications are welcome from MSc and PhD students worldwide with an interest in electrochemistry and related fields. A limited number of participants will be selected through a competitive process. All selected participants will receive full financial support, including accommodation, meals, and round-trip transportation to and from São Paulo, regardless of their country of origin.
The program is structured in two complementary parts. The first part consists of an intensive school focused on fundamental electrochemistry, combining theoretical lectures with hands-on training sessions designed to strengthen core concepts and experimental skills. The second part will feature lectures from renowned experts, highlighting recent advances and emerging directions in electrochemistry.
Beyond the scientific program, the event will provide opportunities for discussion, networking, and collaboration between students and leading scientists in the field.
