Introduction

Our ambition is to provide a pleasing atmosphere of a small meeting not exceeding a hundred participants. The program will leave sufficient room for collaborations and informal discussions, besides the usual oral and poster presentations. We plan to gather scientists from different fields under a unifying topic of ionic interactions in macromolecular, biomacromolecular or colloidal systems. The scope is centred around polyelectrolytes in solutions and at interfaces, comprising experiment, theory and simulations. Contributions from related fields of soft matter or colloidal science are highly welcome. The venue at the castle of Hrubá Skála provides a historical atmosphere amid the scenic landscape of the sandstone towers.
